“friends of Jesus”, the Jesuit Vocation Promotion Team organised another Holy Hour for Vocations on Friday 16.5.08 evening at Ricci Hall, SFX Church to encourage SFX parishioners and Catholics in general to come together to pray for more vocations to the priestly and religious orders. Rev. Fr. Larry Tan SJ, the Jesuits’ Regional Superior and Vocation Promoter lead all present in silent adoration during the Exposition Of The Blessed Sacrament which was interspaced with Taize Chant, Singing of Hymns, Gospel Reading, and Prayers of Intercession.
During the sharing session, Rev. Fr. Anthony Heng, a CDD priest who was ordained last year, shared the story of his journey to become a priest, which started with him being exposed to church activities from young.
Benediction and Veneration of the Blessed Sacrament then followed and ended with Procession for the Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament in the Church.
Fellowship was held at the end of the prayer session.
