At the 3.5.08 Saturday evening Novena of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, the Novena began with the Procession into SFX Church of the Statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. It was then placed on top of a special dais at the Sanctuary. A special 'crown' was also placed on the head our Lady's statue by Rev. Fr. Simon Yong SJ. The usual Saturday Novena then began. It ended with the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction.
At the closing hymn, the Statue of Our Lady of Lourdes was again carried in procession to the entrance of the Church by two representatives of the assigned BEC and from where it will be making its visit to the BEC homes throughout the month of May 08.
